Oman’s premier yachting destination, Almouj Marina - located in the prestigious The Wave, Muscat development - will open a fuelling station this summer in partnership with Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil)
Visitors to the marina will soon be able to enjoy greater comfort and peace of mind with the added benefits of the station, which is set to be completed in August this year. The fuelling station will serve Almouj Marina’s customers with greater convenience, providing both diesel and benzene fuels.
Read more...Port Tarraco ramps up to be the first mediterranean marina with 6.6 KV onshore power
Port Tarraco, one of the Mediterranean’s only marinas with nine meter draft, making it ideal for deep water berthing of superyachts and megayachts, is upgrading its onshore power system to 6.6 kV. This latest standard in onshore power provides 6,600 volts, which is the system used by new giga yachts.
This is backed up with Port Tarraco’s existing 1250 amps at 400 volts onshore power, making Port Tarraco now one of the only Mediterranean ports able to offer commercial and merchant marine standard power systems, which are becoming more commonly used on super and mega yachts.
Break-through UNESCO scientific experiment unveiled at Lusail Marina
The results of this pioneering experiment will help shape understanding on mitigating climate change as scientists will see if the floating mangroves have the potential to make a significant contribution to reducing atmospheric carbon levels.

Almouj Marina at The Wave, Muscat welcomes first boats
The Wave, Muscat, has announced that its award-winning Almouj Marina is now welcoming boats and is offering complimentary berthing special ahead of its Autumn grand opening.
With the first 120 berths now complete, Almouj Marina is being developed with state-of-the-art facilities by The Wave, Muscat. Extra wide walkways will lead boaters to on-water lounge areas, while a golf cart service to and from berths will be available. The marina will also become home to Oman’s leading sailing school, Oman Sail, and their roster of exciting events.
